CBC Young Adults
CBC Young Adults (YA) is a ministry of Calvary Bible Church for members & regular attendees of CBC who are unmarried (single - engaged), college - young professionals, and ages 18-mid-30s.
The Goals of the CBC Young Adult Ministry are to provide:
Pathways to independent membership and ministry in Calvary Bible Church
Mentoring and coaching in life-stage-specific issues
Opportunities for discipleship and leadership training for CBC members
A network of peer relationships via a combination of centrally organized events and informal social gatherings
YA meets monthly on the First Friday of each month for food, fellowship, a devotional time in the Word, and prayer together. This gathering is often hosted by families within the church body at large. Additionally, many in YA are participants in weekly or bi-weekly small, same-gender discipleship groups. Fairly regularly, members of YA group also meet outside of these times for social activities and informal times of fellowship and discipleship.
